Megan Rochell (born on August 19, 1985 in Brooklyn, New York) is a female R&B singer from the 2000s.
She first sung in church at the age of 7. When she was 11 years old, Megan became a five-time winner on “Showtime at the Apollo.”
When she was 18 years old, Megan moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she met Leon Huff (of Gamble & Huff) and later wrote songs & recorded demos.
One afternoon after Megan left the recording studio, she met Boyz II Men’s Nathan Morris and sang for him which prompted Nathan to sign her to his management company Adlib Entertainment.
Megan later got a record deal with Def Jam Records. 
In 2006, she released her debut single “The One You Need” (featuring rapper Fabolous). The song managed to chart at #42 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, staying on the chart for 13 weeks.
